Your existing router or access point controller redirects guests to the branded portal in the cloud; SMS code, voucher and e-mail sign-in, plans and reports run in the cloud. You pay monthly or yearly. The Law 5651 record archive is not part of this service; for legal records choose the Box or the Virtual Appliance.

How does the cloud service connect to your network?
With SaaS nothing is installed on site: the portal, verification, plans and reports run in Hotspot-Box Cloud; your existing firewall, wireless controller or router redirects guests to the cloud portal. Four common set-ups; click a step to highlight its part.
Captive portal redirect: FortiGate, Sophos, Palo Alto, Zyxel, MikroTikThe firewall at the head of the line manages the guest network: it redirects unverified guests to the cloud portal and lets verified ones out via the RADIUS reply. The modem or ONT only provides the line; it is left out of the drawing.
