Acceptance Test
Ten tests that show the box really works once installation is finished. Run them in order, record the results in the table at the end and keep this document in your installation file.

How to use
The installer and a representative of the venue run the tests together. If a test fails, note why; do not put the box into service before the test passes.
You need a phone that connects to the guest SSID, an administrator account that can sign in to the panel and access to the alarm channel.
1. Record flow is alive
How to test: Connect a phone to the guest SSID and sign in with an SMS code. Open today's records in the panel.
Expected result: The session appears in the list within a minute with the device MAC address, assigned internal IP and start time. The previous day's row shows its hash-chain and timestamp status.
2. Alarm when the box stops
How to test: Unplug the box's internet cable for longer than the alarm threshold, or power the box off. Then restore the connection.
Expected result: An offline alarm arrives on your chosen channel (e-mail, Telegram, webhook). Once the connection is back the panel shows the box online again, and any days that could not be stamped meanwhile are stamped from the queue.
3. NTP clock
How to test: Open the NTP status and the clock drift relative to the timestamp service on the panel's health screen. Compare the box's clock with a clock you trust.
Expected result: The status reads "in sync", the drift is within seconds and there is no drift warning.
4. SFTP/FTPS copy has landed
How to test: Trigger the archive copy manually or wait for the scheduled run. Open the target directory on the destination server.
Expected result: The day folder, line files, manifest and timestamp file are on the destination; file sizes match those on the box. The panel shows the copy job as "successful".
5. Every sign-in method
How to test: Try each method you have enabled in turn: SMS code, coupon, e-mail, registered user. Sign out, switch Wi-Fi off and on, and test device remembering.
Expected result: Each method grants internet access and the record shows the method name. Device remembering does not show the portal again within the configured period. (If MAC randomisation is on in the phone, remembering may break; note it.)
6. Coupon printing
How to test: Generate a batch of 20 coupons with a validity period in the panel and print them. Sign in with one of them.
Expected result: The printout shows the code and validity period legibly. The coupon works as configured and appears as used in the reports.
7. SMS credit alarm
How to test: Check the credit balance in the panel and that the credit alarm (below 100) is enabled. Confirm the alarm channel works with a test alarm.
Expected result: The balance is visible in the panel and the alarm channel receives the message. If your balance is already below 100, the real credit alarm arrives.
8. Export and verify a day
How to test: Pick a completed day, press "verify", then export it as a ZIP. Open the ZIP; optionally check the timestamp file with openssl ts -verify.
Expected result: The verification report reads "valid". The ZIP contains the day folder, line files, a manifest with the SHA-256 chain and the RFC 3161 timestamp file; the external verification passes too.
9. Configuration backup
How to test: Download the box's configuration backup from the panel and store it somewhere safe off the box.
Expected result: The backup file is downloaded; its date and storage location are written in the results table.
10. Last trial day is marked
How to test: If you are on the 7-day trial, find the trial end date in the panel. Put a reminder in the calendar and write down who decides on the licence.
Expected result: The end date is visible in the panel and written in this document. The licence activation plan is agreed, so guests are not locked out when the trial ends.
